Stove installation

Our engineers are HETAS and Gas Safe approved in addition to having excellent building experience. We offer a full installation service:

  • Fireplace alterations and making good
  • Hearth supply and fitting
  • Chimney lining
  • Twin wall installation (if there is no existing flue)
  • Fireplace re-pointing and rendering

Good building experience is essential, not only for 'making good' surrounding plaster etc., but for flue lining especially. Lining a chimney might, in theory, be as simple as dropping a liner down from the roof, but it is not always this easy. Chimneys weren't built with the foresight that, in the future, somebody might like to drop a liner down the flue! As such, there are sometimes obstructing brick work that needs to be removed before the liner can be installed. This may necessitate locating the obstruction and knocking into the flue to remove it. The flue and any damaged plaster then needs to be repaired.
